About the Sama Veda :- The Sama Veda (सामवेद) is the “Veda of Melodies” — a collection of hymns set to music that forms the foundation of Indian classical music and sacred chanting. The word “Saman” means “song” or “melody,” and this Veda transforms the hymns of the Rig Veda into musical compositions meant to be sung during Vedic rituals.
